As Government Denies Existence of Retroviruses, Big Pharma Prepares to Make Huge Profits from Treatment

Many test tube with blood for analysis

After a 4-year gag order against Dr. Judy Mikovits was recently lifted, Health Impact News interviewed this whistleblower regarding her research that shows 6% of the U.S. population is harboring a retrovirus in their bodies that can develop into an acquired immune deficiency. See:

Vaccines and Retroviruses: A Whistleblower Reveals What the Government is Hiding

Judy A. Mikovits, PhD, earned her BA from University of Virginia and PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from George Washington University. In just over twenty years she rose from an entry-level lab technician to become director of the lab of Antiviral Drug Mechanisms at the National Cancer Institute before leaving to direct the Cancer Biology program at EpiGenX Pharmaceuticals in Santa Barbara, California. There in 2006, she became attracted to the plight of patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Autism. In only five years she developed the first neuroimmune institute from a concept to a reality and is primarily responsible for demonstrating the relationship between immune based inflammation and these diseases. She has published over 50 scientific papers.

But it was Dr. Mikovits’ research showing the relationship of the XMRV mouse retrovirus to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and then Autism, and other diseases, that brought about much trouble for her. The data showed that 6% of the U.S. population is harboring a retrovirus in their bodies.

Dr. Mikovits spoke the truth about the fraudulent use of government research money, the marketing of inaccurate retrovirus tests, Medicare fraud, the contaminated blood supply, and the harm that is associated with vaccines and their schedule of administration. Her research showed how retroviruses are linked to the plague of modern illnesses that are bankrupting the U.S. healthcare system. She was arrested without a warrant and held in jail for 5 days without the opportunity for bail as a fugitive from justice. Her career was destroyed.

Her story is documented in the book Plague: One Scientist’s intrepid Search For the Truth about Human Retroviruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Autism, and Other Diseases.

Her co-author, Kent Heckenlively, brings us this article below showing how the FDA has approved a testing protocol to detect retroviruses in the U.S. blood supply which is worth millions of dollars, and based in large part on Dr. Mikovits’ research. So while this distinguished scientist is now bankrupt and without employment, others are allegedly capitalizing on her research to earn millions of dollars to clean up the U.S. blood supply.

As an attorney I learned (often the hard way), that if you wanted to know the truth about a person, you didn’t just listen to their words, but you investigated their actions. If a client said he wasn’t a gambler, you should probably check out how many trips he’s made to Las Vegas in the past year. We all understand that, right?

So, why is it that with the XMRV retrovirus (more accurately referred to as the xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus, basically a mouse retrovirus that crossed-over into humans) that Dr. Mikovits and I wrote about in our book, PLAGUE: One Scientist’s Intrepid Search for the Truth About Human Retroviruses, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Autism, and Other Diseases, officially declared by Dr. Ian Lipkin of Columbia University and the medical research community not to be a threat, are people spending a lot of money to protect against something just like XMRV?

One of the most important questions Dr. Mikovits investigated was whether the XMRV retrovirus posed a threat to the blood supply, just as the HIV retrovirus posed a threat to the blood supply decades earlier. The investigation was troubled from the start and Dr. Mikovits was aware of immense pressure that the scientists reach the conclusion that no threat existed.

Shortly after the publication of her article in the journal Science in October of 2009, showing an association between the XMRV retrovirus and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), Dr. Mikovits was contacted by representatives from the Cerus Corporation.  They had developed the Cerus Intercept System, which involved inserting a molecule into the donated blood material.

This molecule then attaches to the DNA or RNA of any potential pathogen, and then when exposed to ultraviolet light the molecule binds to the pathogen and prevents it from replicating.  (“The INTERCEPT Blood System Rids Blood Donations of All Pathogens,” Scientific American, June 16, 2015)

Dr. Mikovits worked on two studies with Cerus, including one that showed the Oakland blood supply was contaminated with XMRVs.  Dr. Mikovits even spiked blood with XMRV, subjected it to the Cerus INTERCEPT system and found the system had reduced the XMRV in the blood below detectable.

Judy-Mikovits

Dr. Judy Mikovits

Dr. Mikovits was impressed with the results of these tests, especially as she believed XMRVs posed a significant threat to the blood supply. She publicly shared this assessment during her talk at the New York Academy of Sciences on March 29, 2011, when she appeared right after Dr. Lipkin.

Well, those who have followed this issue know that the work of Dr. Mikovits was subjected to a vicious campaign of intimidation and outright deception, all because she asserted a few simple truths.  XMRV or something closely resembling it appeared to be present in anywhere from 3-8% of the healthy population.

Retroviruses hide out in the immune system, which means any immune activation, like an injury, surgery, fever, and yes, even a vaccination, could set off the ticking time-bomb of a retrovirus and cause diseases like chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) among adults, autism among children and the blood disease Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia as Dr. Mikovits and her team had also reported in June 2011.

It became necessary to destroy Dr. Mikovits and XMRV, but strangely enough, that Cerus INTERCEPT System suffered a markedly different fate. The Cerus corporation has had an extremely good run of success in the past year because of its INTERCEPT system. According to their press release of August 6, 2015, the Concord, California based company, in the second quarter of 2015 they, “signed INTERCEPT platelet and plasma supply agreements with Unyts and Bonfils Blood Center; Suncoast Blood Bank produced the first INTERCEPT pathogen reduced platelet components distributed in the continental United States; and appointed Dr. Richard J. Benjamin (former chief medical officer of the American Red Cross) as the new Cerus chief medical officer.”

And how did all of this wonderful success affect the bottom line of Cerus?  Well, let me quote from their own press release.  “At June 30, 2015, the Company had cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments of $122.9 million compared to $51.3 million at December 31, 2014.”  That’s a gain of $71.6 million dollars in six months.

Are you getting the picture?  Dr. Mikovits and XMRV needed to be destroyed, and as a result Dr. Mikovits was driven into bankruptcy.  I assure you she does not have $122.9 million on hand in “cash, cash equivalents, or short term investments.”

As she seeks to redeem her name by legal actions, she often worries about running out of money by the end of the month.  And yet, at the same time, it seems people are falling all over themselves to buy the Cerus INTERCEPT system that would get rid of XMRVs in the blood supply, which according to the official story don’t exist in the human population.

This demand is so high it adds $71.6 million to the bank account of Cerus, even after doing all those things like paying for rent, equipment, supplies, and the salaries of people who used to be the chief medical officer for the American Red Cross.  Dr. Mikovits had a collaborative agreement with Cerus, contributed intellectual property to the use of the system, and yet does not share in any of the financial success of this venture.

Am I being too cynical, or am I simply presenting the facts?

And then there’s the recent publication on August 29, 2015 of an article in the journal Biologicals, entitled “Removal of Xenotropic Murine Leukemia Virus by Nanocellulose Based Filter Paper” which looks at a method for removing mouse leukemia viruses from biological products.  As they reported in the abstract, “The results of this validation study suggest that nanocellulose filter paper is useful for removal of endogenous rodent retroviruses and retrovirus-like particles during the production of recombinant proteins.”

Can somebody please tell me what is going on here?  In one of the most dramatic moments of her investigation, Dr. Mikovits was shouted down by fellow scientists at a conference in Leuven, Belgium in the summer of 2011 that her team should stop “wasting money” on this research.  Why is Cerus fattening its bank account on the threat of unknown pathogens lurking in the blood supply when the official line is that no such threat exists?  Why are scientists “wasting money” figuring out how to get mouse retroviruses out of biological products if they couldn’t possibly cause harm?

And if that’s not enough, here are two more little gems for you to consider. In her investigation of retroviruses, Dr. Mikovits had no more misguided opponent than Dr. John Coffin.  And yet, here are Dr. Coffin’s own words from the NIH State of the Knowledge Workshop on ME/CFS from April, 2011:

“That doesn’t mean there isn’t another gammaretrovirus to be found.  I think enough evidence has been presented that maybe another infectious retrovirus is there.  These studies will continue to go on, looking for MLV-related viruses.”

Researchers from the University of California at Berkeley have recently reported in PLOS ONE, a link between the bovine leukemia virus and breast cancer, finding it in 59% of breast cancer tissue samples, and in only 29% of tissue samples from women who never had breast cancer.  A press release from UC Berkeley noted:

“Bovine leukemia virus infects dairy and beef cattle’s blood cells and mammary tissue.  The retrovirus is easily transmitted among cattle primarily through infected blood and milk, but it only causes disease in fewer than 5 percent of infected animals.” (“Virus in Cattle Linked to Human Breast Cancer,” Sarah Yang, UC Berkeley News, September 15, 2015)

For those who may find this interesting, but have other concerns, such as the threat of recombinant technology in foods, animal growth hormones, environmental toxins like aluminum, mercury, and arsenic, or worries about GMOs, these may all be linked together.  Something is causing these previously suppressed animal retroviruses to emerge and driving the evolution of new strains.  Acknowledging the reality of these retroviruses jumping into humans is not the final step, but the first step in unraveling what is going wrong with the health of our population. To repeatedly deny their existence in humans by destroying the careers of those whose strongly say otherwise, and then quietly profiting with technologies to clean up the contaminated blood supply, biological drugs and vaccines which are still being forced upon our children, is pure evil.

People say there’s a lot of rage in this country, and that it’s because those in charge are gaming the system for their own benefit.  Telling the truth is a revolutionary act.  I hope the time for revolution has come, and those like Dr. Mikovits, who have been maligned as the creators of panic, will be seen as correct in their identification of a threat which has already harmed millions of people.

Wake Up! This is for the Nothing is Happening Crowd!

wakeup-statement-sleep-physicians

A lot of people out there expected something to happen in September that did not ultimately happen.  There were all kinds of wild theories floating around, and many of them had no basis in reality whatsoever.  But without a doubt, some very important things did happen in September.  As I warned about ahead of time, we are witnessing the most significant global financial meltdown since the end of 2008.  All of the largest stock markets in the worldare crashing simultaneously, and so far the amount of wealth that has been wiped out worldwide is in excess of 5 trillion dollars.  In addition to stocks, junk bonds are also crashing, and Bank of America says that it is a “slow moving trainwreck that seems to be accelerating“.  Thanks to the commodity price crash, many of the largest commodity traders on the planet are now imploding.  I wrote about the death spiral that has gripped Glencore yesterday.  On Tuesday, the stock price of the largest commodity trader in Asia, the Noble Group, plummeted like a rock and commodity trading giant Trafigura appears to be in worse shape than either Glencore or the Noble Group.  The total collapse of any of them could easily be a bigger event than the implosion of Lehman Brothers in 2008.  So I honestly do not understand the “nothing is happening” crowd.  It takes ignorance on an almost unbelievable level to try to claim that “nothing is happening” in the financial world right now.

Within the last 60 days, we have seen some things happen that we have never seen before.

For example, did you know that we witnessed the greatest intraday stock market crash in U.S. history on August 24th?

During that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged from a high of 16,459.75 to a low of 15,370.33 before rebounding substantially. That intraday point swing of 1,089 points was the largest in all of U.S. history.

Overall, the Dow has down 588.40 points that day.  When you combine that decline with the 530.94 point plunge from the previous Friday, you get a total drop of 1119.34 points over two consecutive trading days.  Never before in history had the Dow fallen by more than 500 points on two trading days in a row.  If that entire decline had fallen within one trading day, it would have been the largest stock market crash in U.S. history by a very wide margin, and everyone would be running around saying that author Jonathan Cahn was right again.

But because this massive decline fell over two consecutive trading days that somehow makes him wrong?

Are you kidding me?

Come on people – let’s use some common sense here.  We are already witnessing the greatest global stock market decline in seven years, and after a brief lull things are starting to accelerate once again.  Last night, stocks in Hong Kong were down 629 points and stocks in Japan were down 714 points.  In the U.S., the Nasdaq has had a string of down days recently, and the “death cross” that has just formed has many investors extremely concerned

The Nasdaq composite spooked investors on Monday after forming a death cross, a trading pattern that shows a decline in short-term momentum and is often a precursor to future losses.

A death cross occurs when the short-term moving average of a security or an index pierces below the long-term trend, in this case the 50-day moving average breaking through the 200-day moving average.

In the past month, similar chart patterns formed in the S&P 500, Dow and small-cap Russell 2000, but the Nasdaq avoided a death cross formation until Monday.

What we witnessed in September was not “the end” of anything.

Instead, it is just the beginning.

And if you listen carefully, some of the biggest names on Wall Street are issuing some very ominous warnings about what is coming.  For instance, just consider what Carl Icahn is saying

Danger ahead—that’s the warning from Carl Icahn in a video coming Tuesday.

The activist says low rates caused bubbles in art, real estate and high-yield bonds—with potentially dramatic consequences.

“It’s like giving somebody medicine and this medicine is being given and given and given and we don’t know what’s going to happen – you don’t know how bad it’s going to be. We do know when we did it a few years ago it caused a catastrophe, it caused ’08. Where do you draw the line?”

Even people like Jim Cramer are starting to freak out.  He recently told his audience that “we have a first-class bear market going”

Jim Cramer, the ex-hedge fund manager and host of CNBC’s show “Mad Money,” has been vocal recently on air, saying repeatedly that he doesn’t like the market now, and last week said “we have a first-class bear market going.” Similarly, Gary Kaltbaum, president of Kaltbaum Capital Management, has been sending out notes to clients and this newspaper for weeks, saying the poor price action of the stock market and many hard-hit sectors, such as energy and the recently clobbered biotech sector, has all the earmarks of a bear market. Over the weekend, Kaltbaum said: “We remain in a worldwide bear market for stocks.”

As I have warned repeatedly, there will continue to be ups and downs.  The stock market is not going to fall every day.  In fact, on some days stocks will absolutely soar.

But without a doubt, we have entered the period of time that I have warned about for so long.  The global financial system is now beginning to unravel, and any piece of major bad news will likely accelerate things.

For instance, the total collapse of Deutsche Bank, Petrobras, Glencore, the Noble Group, Trafigura or any of a number of other major financial institutions that I am currently watching could create mass panic on the global financial stage.

In addition, an unexpected natural disaster that hits a financially important major city or a massive terror attack in the western world are other examples of things that could accelerate this process. nothing

Our world is becoming increasingly unstable, and we all need to learn to expect the unexpected.

The period of relative peace and security that we all have been enjoying for so long is ending, and now chaos is going to reign for a time.

So get prepared while you still can, because there is very little time remaining to do so…

Americans Head to Atlanta to Protest Against CDC Corruption

by Barbara Loe Fisher

1986 march in Atlanta (CDC)

In the spring of 1986, NVIC co-founder Kathi Williams and I gathered with a small group of parents in Atlanta, Georgia to hold the first public demonstration demanding that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) be truthful with the American public about vaccine injuries and deaths. We held up signs with photos of children who had died or been brain injured by toxic whole cell DPT vaccine to witness and honor them, the children who had no voice and had no choice.

Pharma-Led Forced Vaccination Lobby Attacks Human & Civil Rights

Almost 30 years later, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 1 p.m., Kathi and I will again gather with parents in Atlanta, this time for the Truth, Transparency & Freedom Rally in Grant Park. The rally is being organized and sponsored by the parent-led Vaccine Injury Awareness League (VIAL), a small California non-profit founded this year after the Pharma-led forced vaccination lobby descended upon that state’s legislature and attacked the human right to informed consent to medical risk taking so they could eliminate the personal belief vaccine exemption and the civil right to a school education.

NVIC Stands in Solidarity with Parents

Dave McCutcheon and parents marching in Atlanta 1986

The National Vaccine Information Center stands in solidarity with parents who are gathering in Atlanta and witnessing about what happened to their once healthy children, and are again calling on the CDC to tell the public the truth about vaccine injuries and deaths.

We stand with in solidarity with all who want to protect the right to know and the freedom to choose how to stay healthy in America.

We stand in solidarity with all who reject the politics of demonization, discrimination and segregation that pit parent against parent, citizen against citizen, and violate basic human and civil rights.

We will not allow another generation of children to lose their health because government continues to protect the liability free vaccine industry and covers up vaccine risks and failures, while our children are crippled in the chronic disease and disability epidemic sweeping through America’s schools.

YES to Democracy, NO to Corporatocracy

Many people coming to the rally in Atlanta are united in defending freedom of speech and conscience. They believe it is time to speak out about the business partnership between industry and government that is turning our democracy into a corporatocracy and threatening the health of our nation.

Defend Inalienable Natural Rights and Health Liberty!

On Saturday, October 24, be in Atlanta and defend the inalienable natural rights embodied in the U.S. Constitution, which unite all of us regardless of where we live, the color of our skin, the faith that sustains us or the philosophies that define us. Bring your friends, your spirit, your love and your commitment and stand in solidarity with others who are there for the same reason.

The Stock Markets Of The 10 Largest Global Economies Are All Crashing

Globe Interconnectedness

By Michael Snyder, on September 24th, 2015

You would think that the simultaneous crashing of all of the largest stock markets around the world would be very big news.  But so far the mainstream media in the United States is treating it like it isn’t really a big deal.  Over the last sixty days, we have witnessed the most significant global stock market decline since the fall of 2008, and yet most people still seem to think that this is just a temporary “bump in the road” and that the bull market will soon resume.  Hopefully they are right.  When the Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted 777 points on September 29th, 2008 everyone freaked out and rightly so.  But a stock market crash doesn’t have to be limited to a single day.  Since the peak of the market earlier this year, the Dow is down almost three times as much as that 777 point crash back in 2008.  Over the last sixty days, we have seen the 8th largest single day stock market crash in U.S. history on a point basis and the 10th largest single day stock market crash in U.S. history on a point basis.  You would think that this would be enough to wake people up, but most Americans still don’t seem very alarmed.  And of course what has happened to U.S. stocks so far is quite mild compared to what has been going on in the rest of the world.

Right now, stock market wealth is being wiped out all over the planet, and none of the largest global economies have been exempt from this.  The following is a summary of what we have seen in recent days…

#1 The United States – The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down more than 2000 points since the peak of the market.  Last month we saw stocks decline by more than 500 points on consecutive trading days for the first time ever, and there has not been this much turmoil in U.S. markets since the fall of 2008.

#2 China – The Shanghai Composite Index has plummeted nearly 40 percent since hitting a peak earlier this year.  The Chinese economy is steadily slowing down, and we just learned that China’s manufacturing index has hit a 78 month low.

#3 Japan – The Nikkei has experienced extremely violent moves recently, and it is now down more than 3000 points from the peak that was hit earlier in 2015.  The Japanese economy and the Japanese financial system are both basket cases at this point, and it isn’t going to take much to push Japan into a full-blown financial collapse.

#4 Germany – Almost one-fourth of the value of German stocks has already been wiped out, and this crash threatens to get much worse.  The Volkswagen emissions scandal is making headlines all over the globe, and don’t forget to watch for massive trouble at Germany’s biggest bank.

#5 The United Kingdom – British stocks are down about 16 percent from the peak of the market, and the UK economy is definitely on shaky ground.

#6 France – French stocks have declined nearly 18 percent, and it has become exceedingly apparent that France is on the exact same path that Greece has already gone down.

#7 Brazil – Brazil is the epicenter of the South American financial crisis of 2015.  Stocks in Brazil have plunged more than 12,000 points since the peak, and the nation has already officially entered a new recession.

#8 Italy – Watch Italy.  Italian stocks are already down 15 percent, and look for the Italian economy to make very big headlines in the months ahead.

#9 India – Stocks in India have now dropped close to 4000 points, and analysts are deeply concerned about this major exporting nation as global trade continues to contract.

#10 Russia – Even though the price of oil has crashed, Russia is actually doing better than almost everyone else on this list.  Russian stocks have fallen by about 10 percent so far, and if the price of oil stays this low the Russian financial system will continue to suffer.

What we are witnessing now is the continuation of a cycle of financial downturns that has happened every seven years.  The following is a summary of how this cycle has played out over the past 50 years

  • It started in 1966 with a 20 percent stock market crash.
  • Seven years later, the market lost another 45 percent (1973-74).
  • Seven years later was the beginning of the “hard recession” (1980).
  • Seven years later was the Black Monday crash of 1987.
  • Seven years later was the bond market crash of 1994.
  • Seven years later was 9/11 and the 2001 tech bubble collapse.
  • Seven years later was the 2008 global financial collapse.
  • 2015: What’s next?

A lot of people were expecting something “big” to happen on September 14th and were disappointed when nothing happened.

But the truth is that it has never been about looking at any one particular day.  Over the past sixty days we have seen absolutely extraordinary things happen all over the planet, and yet some people are not even paying attention because they did not meet their preconceived notions of how events should play out.

And this is just the beginning.  We haven’t even gotten to the great derivatives crisis that is coming yet.  All of these things are going to take time to fully unfold.

A lot of people that write about “economic collapse” talk about it like it will be some type of “event” that will happen on a day or a week and then we will recover.

Well, that is not what it is going to be like.

You need to be ready to endure a very, very long crisis.  The suffering that is coming to this nation is beyond what most of us could even imagine.

Even now we are seeing early signs of it.  For instance, the mayor of Los Angeles says that the growth of homelessness in his city has gotten so bad that it is now“an emergency”

On Tuesday, Los Angeles officials announced the city’s homelessness problem has become an emergency, and proposed allotting $100 million to help shelter the city’s massive and growing indigent population.

LA Mayor Eric Garcetti also issued a directive on Monday evening for the city to free up $13 million to help house the estimated 26,000 people who are living on the city’s streets.

According to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, the number of encampments and people living in vehicles has increased by 85% over the last two years alone.

And in recent years we have seen poverty absolutely explode all over the nation.  The “bread lines” of the Great Depression have been replaced with EBT cards, and there is a possibility that a government shutdown in October could “suspend or delay food stamp payments”

A government shutdown Oct. 1 could immediately suspend or delay food stamp payments to some of the 46 million Americans who receive the food aid.

The Agriculture Department said Tuesday that it will stop providing benefits at the beginning of October if Congress does not pass legislation to keep government agencies open.

“If Congress does not act to avert a lapse in appropriations, then USDA will not have the funding necessary for SNAP benefits in October and will be forced to stop providing benefits within the first several days of October,” said Catherine Cochran, a spokeswoman for USDA. “Once that occurs, families won’t be able to use these benefits at grocery stores to buy the food their families need.”

In the U.S. alone, there are tens of millions of people that could not survive without the help of the federal government, and more people are falling out of the middle class every single day.

Our economy is already falling apart all around us, and now another great financial crisis has begun.

When will the “nothing is happening” crowd finally wake up?

Hopefully it will be before they are sitting out on the street begging for spare change to feed their family.

IS THE CONSTITUTION STILL VALID?

IS THE CONSTITUTION STILL VALID?

Written By Michael Howell September 26th 2015

This has to be the main question we ask ourselves if we are to come to terms with foreign wars and the ever increasing globalism we are facing. With an out of hand Military Industrial Complex, horrible foreign policy, fictitious debt and monetary system, ever growing police state, military operations pointed at civilians, and a myriad of other liberty taking actions, once again, we have to ask is our Constitution valid? After all, we are sending soldiers at a record number to “fight” for it so we need to answer this question now, before we continue to support the agenda and goal of “democracy.”

Let’s look at the last word in that sentence before we go any farther. Democracy and what it means has been convoluted to mean many things and has been used to start and justify wars. So, what does it mean and are we a democracy? No, we are not. We are, and were always, a Constitutional Republic. It is very important to know the difference. Our founding fathers knew the difference and it can be referenced in many of their writings and speeches.

constitution-scroll-small

Before I list quotes of the founding fathers thoughts on democracy vs. republic, let’s look at what the Constitution, itself, says about the two.

Article IV Section 4, of the Constitution “The United States shall guarantee to every state in this Union a Republican Form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion”, the word Democracy is not mentioned in the Constitution at all.

We can now rest assure that the authors and founding fathers clearly wanted us to be a republic, not a democracy, as one cannot be both, as one cannot be socialist and fascist. Two separate forms of government. So, now let’s illustrate the point in more detail and look at direct quotes from those men that wrote the Constitution or had a hand in its conception.

“Hence it is that democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and in general have been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths…A republic, by which I mean a government in which a scheme of representation takes place, opens a different prospect and promises the cure for which we are seeking.” – James Madison, Federalist Papers No. 10 (1787)

“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!” – Ben Franklin

“A democracy is nothing more than a mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.” – Thomas Jefferson

“Remember, democracy never last long. It soon wastes, exhaust, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. “– John Adams

There are many other quotes you can look up on your own time as it pertains to the difference of Republic vs. Democracy, but I feel the clear platform can be established by now concerning their thoughts on the Republic.

Now let’s define the two. What is a Republic? What is a democracy? In a Constitutional Republic, such as America, the individuals rights are protected and cannot be voted or taken away. In a democracy, I believe Thomas Jefferson as stated above, has given us the best definition. To paraphrase him, it is simply when fifty – one percent rule over the remaining forty-nine percent. This is a slippery slope that was foreseen by the founders.

So, do we have any proof that the Constitution is invalid or has been usurped? Let’s take what President George Washington defined as the “liberty’s teeth”, the second amendment. Without this amendment we would not be able to protect the remaining Constitution or Bill of Rights. It is very short and cannot be misinterpreted unless approached from an angle to reject it.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

There are two key words in this amendment. First, being “shall” as it is absolute and infringed, which means taken away or even regulated. So, how has the second amendment been infringed you ask? Gun ownership is at an all time high and rifle ranges seem to be busy nowadays so it must still be intact, right? Not so fast.

Look at cities like New Orleans, Chicago, New York City, and Detroit as example. They have the strictest gun control laws and ironically, have the highest violent crime rate, but that’s a topic for another article. Some cities have instituted a magazine capacity ban. That is an infringement. Let’s look at the sanctions we have on Russian made AK-47’s. That is a political infringement on gun ownership. And lastly, let’s look at the United Nations Small Arms Treaty. Many things are wrong with this. One being that a foreign government, United Nations, is dictating rights on a sovereign Republic. That is a blatant infringement on gun rights. There are other violations to the 2nd Amendment but just these examples alone are direct infringements. Is the Constitution still valid?

Now let’s look at the 4th Amendment. “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Here we have that absolute word again – “shall.” Not a suggestion, but an absolute. Just as God used it in the Ten Commandments so that there is no other interpretation, the founders used it here as well and for the same reason. How is this being attacked you ask? We are seeing a gross amount of no knock raids on homes and properties. Property illegally seized and often times even destroyed or never returned back to the owners. The fourth amendment clearly states the process in which warrants are to be issued and executed. Look at another example, checkpoints on roads. We have all seen them used in the name of safety. Drunk driving checkpoint, insurance checkpoints, ect. This is a clear violation of the fourth amendment as everyone has the right to be secure in their persons, papers, houses, and effects. It is unconstitutional to stop every single vehicle without probable cause. Here there is no probable cause and we are guaranteed to travel freely unless suspected of a crime. The proper, ethical, and even Constitutional way to go about these practices are being ignored. I ask you again, is the Constitution still valid?

Wars, we all hate them, but at times may be necessary in order to maintain freedoms and liberties. The constitution has defined the way a Republic goes to war. It is by a Declaration of War, through Congress, by our representatives, using our voice. When was the last declaration of war? World War 2. The rest have been on U.N. sanctions or have been under the name of conflicts. This is illegal and needs to be reigned in as the consequences are grave. Article 1, Section 8 defines it this way. “The Congress shall have the power to…..declare war. Notice that absolute word, shall, again? That means go to congress and let the people voice their concerns and even approval, through their representatives. Not on United Nations sanctions or Presidential Executive Orders. I must ask you this again, is the Constitution still valid?

How about the 10th amendment? States rights were very key and instrumental in the establishment of the Republic as our founding fathers recognized all states do not live the same way and shouldn’t be governed the same way, or as in a blanket Federal law. States right’s is important in continuing a society free from government overreach. It secures the States govern themselves through the people of the States. Let’s look at the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage. Regardless what side of the fence you fall on you cannot deny that state rights were ignored and trampled on. First, look at how it came to be law of the land. The Supreme Court does not have the power, under the Constitution, to creat laws, only rule on existing laws. In the case of gay marriage they created, wrote, ruled, and executed the law. In return they created a blanket law for the Republic, bypassing the 10th amendment. This is getting to be a continuing theme; however, I have to ask. Is the Constitution still valid?

The last example I will use is so important to free people that the founders made it the first amendment and that is free speech. There have been famous quotes such as; “the first amendment wasn’t meant to discuss the weather, but controversial things” that sums up the importance of free speech. How can we continue to be a free society and prosper if thoughts are suppressed and our voices silenced? We can’t be. This is imperative to talking ideas and concerns all the way through to conclusion so that all sides and all options are brought forward.

Now with the expansion of the N.S.A. spying program to include metadata of innocent individuals, our free speech has been compromised. It has been proven, much to their own admission, that they collect metadata on all person’s phone calls, emails, and even social media post. This is not free speech. This can also be tied into the 4th amendment as it is an unwarranted collection of someone’s rights since no warrant was filed on the said individual, instead collected on everyone as a whole. We are seeing a gross incline in political correctness which is silencing many thoughts and even keeping many from voicing their concerns out of fear of retaliation. This is a reminder of the Alien and Sedition Act that John Adams signed into law and then later felt obligated to repeal. We are starting to see things head that way again if we don’t act now. Any infringement on free speech is a infringement on all free speech. So in closing, I have to ask, is the Constitution valid?

Food freedom alert: Bureaucrats in Michigan threaten woman with jail time for planting vegetable garden in her own yard

Food freedom alert: Bureaucrats in Michigan threaten woman with jail time for planting vegetable garden in her own yard

(NaturalNews) The anti-food tyrants are at it again, this time threatening a Michigan woman with fines and jail time for her "crime" of daring to plant tomatoes and peppers in her front yard. Your help is needed to take action and fire off an avalanche of complaints against the local bureaucrats in Michigan who are threatening this woman (see action items below).

This story involves a woman named Julie Bass, whose front yard was dug up during sewer line construction. After the construction project was completed, instead of planting grass, she thought it would be far more practical to plant a vegetable garden. Watch the brief news reports on this at:
http://www.naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=1D577A9747...
http://www.naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=09F5170370...

Vegetable gardens not only provide organic, high-nutrient live foods to those who grow them, studies have also linked gardening to enormous health benefits such as sharp reductions in the risk of breast cancer (http://www.naturalnews.com/025280_cancer_bre...) and even lung cancer. They also create an environment of food security while promoting eco-friendly practices. There's no food that's more "local" than the food grown in your own front yard, right? It's good for public health, great for the environment, and fantastic for teaching children useful skills that get them out of the house and away from the X-Box.

Thou shalt not grow food in Oak Park

None of this seems to matter to Kevin Rulkowski, the city planner for the city of Oak Park, Michigan. With a nasty arrogance that seems to be increasingly common among ignorant bureaucrats, he complains in a video news report that Julie Bass's garden is in violation of city code and Julie has to dig up her entire garden or face punitive enforcement actions by the city (which could include jail time).

City code says, "All unpaved portions of the site shall be planted with grass, shrubbery or other suitable live plant material."

But city planner Kevin Rulkowski, who really just comes off as an arrogant bully in his attacks on Julie Bass, proclaims, "If you look in Webster's dictionary, suitable means common. And you can look all throughout the entire city and you'll never find a vegetable garden that consumes the entire front yard." (http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=1D577A9747A66F...).

Hold on a minute, Mr. Rulkowski. Suitable does not mean "common." Suitable means appropriate within the context in which it is being used. Check any dictionary and you'll see the definition of "suitable" being either "appropriate" or "proper."

Even the Webster's dictionary Mr. Rulkowski quotes in his news report doesn't define "suitable" as "common." It defines "suitable" as "proper, able, or qualified" and gives examples such as "The dress was a SUITABLE choice."

Well what could be more suitable to a family with a yard than teaching children how to grow some of their own food right at home? That's suitable! It's the most suitable (and natural) thing in the world, in fact. What's weird is to grow nothing but grass and then spray your lawn with toxic chemicals to kill all the weeds, and then mow the lawn every week burning up fossil fuels and polluting the air just to keep your lawn manicured. That's bizarre (and terrible for city air quality, by the way).

Gardening, on the other hands, is eco-friendly, health-friendly and great for the air quality of the city! What could be more suitable to a city than people growing more of their own food right at home, right on their front lawns?

Oak Park hates veggies?

To be an opponent of a home garden is to be an enemy of the environment, an enemy of food freedom, an enemy of self reliance and an opponent of the rights of the People to pursue Life, Liberty and Happiness.

Mr. Kevin Rulkowski, who can't even get his dictionary definitions straight, maintains his arrogance: "I told her don't do it. And she went ahead and did it anyway." As if Julie Bass is somehow supposed to grovel at this bureaucratic parasite's feet and lick his boots because he pretends to be in a position of authority.

Kevin Rulkowski is like every other mindless bureaucratic tyrant running around America or any other country: They are useless parasites on society who actually harm people while collecting public dollars as their own wages! The city of Oak Park, Michigan would be better served by firing this anti-gardening P.R. disaster before he gets any bright ideas such as banning fruit trees or edible flowers. As a spokesperson for the city of Oak Park, the guy is a shining example of how to not conduct public relations.

He also just looks kind of heartless and mean, you know? ...As if he's been living on processed junk food and hot dogs. I guess for a paper-pushing bureaucratic whip cracker, that's a "suitable" diet, eh? But growing your own food isn't suitable at all in his mind. Of course, he's perfectly fine with pavement. Lots of pavement. You can't have living vegetables in your front yard, but you can pave the entire yard and he's be fine with that! (Seriously, what kind of pathetic, hate-filled anti-lifer prefers pavement over fresh, living garden vegetables?)

So now Julie Bass is facing a jury trial and possible jail time for daring to stand up to the tyranny of miscreants like Kevin Rulkowski. The trial begins in a couple of weeks, and the outcome remains in doubt. (You can help, see below.)

Help Julie Bass defend her natural right to grow garden vegetables on her own property

I am requesting your help in coming to the aid of Julie Bass, who seems like an intelligent, decent human being who was basically just minding her own business and growing some veggies on her own property. (To even think that this is now a CRIME in America is just sickening.)

I urge you to join our avalanche of phone, fax and email complaints to the City Planner's office in Oak Park, Michigan. This avalanche will be taking place across three days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (July 11th - 13th). Here's what to do:

Action Item #1) Sign the online petition!
It already has 14,000 signatures (as of this writing) and lots more on the way!
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/oak-park-ha...

Action Item #2) Complain loudly to Kevin Rulkowski, the condescending bully city planner in the news video who is harassing Julie Bass over her garden and threatening her with punitive action for daring to question his "authority":

Phone: 248-691-7450
Email: krulkowski@ci.oak-park.mi.us

Be sure to CC the City Manager Rick Fox who needs to be kept in the loop on this so he can see how his entire city is now becoming famous all across the 'net for having the world's most moronic city planner who hates vegetable gardens:

Phone: 248-691-7406
Email: rfox@ci.oak-park.mi.us

If you wish, you may also cc the Mayor of Oak Park, Gerald E. Naftaly:
Email: gnaftaly@att.net

Question: Is it really okay to email complaints to these people? Of course it is! They are public servants who are paid by the taxpayers. Their entire job function is to SERVE the public, to take your calls, read your emails and respond to public requests. That's why all their emails and phone numbers are openly posted on PUBLIC web pages. You're supposed to let 'em know what you think about the job they're doing!

Tip: Remember that if you email these people, they will then have your email address. To protect your email privacy, I recommend emailing them from an account that doesn't give away your name, such as a free email address (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) -- and even then, they will have your IP address. Absolutely DO NOT email them from your work email account, because some of these bureaucrats are so nasty and deceitful that they will actually call your company and tattle on you to try to get you fired. So be smart about where your emails are originating from. And as always, please do not threaten these people with violence. That is a criminal offense and in no way do we encourage that. Do speak strongly and firmly to voice your opinion, but don't cross the line into becoming a criminal yourself. We always encourage our readers to be polite but firm. And don't violate any laws such as the Patriot Act which can now get you thrown into Guantanamo Bay for merely emailing a fake bomb threat, for example.

You can find all the contact information for the city of Oak Park on a public web page at:
http://www.oakpark-mi.com/city_directory/ind...

Action Item #3) Listen to the Alex Jones this Thursday at 11am central where I'm scheduled to be the fill-in host for Alex, and I'm going to discuss this issue in greater detail live on the air. I'm hoping to have Julie Bass as a guest on the show, although I have no idea if she even has any interest going on the air to tell her story. Hopefully she will want to share her experience on live, nationwide radio so that others can join her fight for food freedom. (We're trying to reach her, but no guarantees... But if we can't get her on, we'll invite her attorney to join us instead...)

You can tune in to the Alex Jones show at www.PrisonPlanet.com this Thursday at 11am central (12 noon New York time).

Action Item #4) Read Julie's blog, which you will find at:
http://oakparkhatesveggies.wordpress.com/

She has a "donate here" button on the top of the page where you can donate to her legal defense fund (to help pay some of her legal bills). Please consider making a donation to this cause. She is now being represented by Solomon M. Radner, founder of Radner Law Group (in the Detroit area).

Action Item #5) Share this article with others so that they can be kept informed of how bureaucratic tyrants are attacking our natural rights to grow our own food, home school our own children and decide what kind of medicine we wish to treat our children with, too! We must continue to spread the word on freedom and stands up against bureaucrats, parasites and government tyrants who are trying to turn us all into criminals for growing veggies, selling raw milk or even growing rabbits! (http://www.naturalnews.com/032476_rabbits_US...)

Additional opinion and commentary on Kevin Rulkowski

In my opinion, Kevin Rulkowski is a snot-nosed bureaucratic parasite with asinine ideas and a complete disregard for personal freedom and environmental etiquette. He has single handedly made Oak Park, Michigan the laughing stock of the internet, and he has handily demonstrate both an astonishing lack of word sense (suitable means common? Huh?) combined with a world-class demonstration of bureaucratic retardation that can only be truly appreciated by watching the movie Idiocracy.

But it's not just Kevin who is the ass here, it's also the whiny, petty neighbors who called the city on Julie in the first place. "Oh my God, Martha! Did you see that neighbor girl! She refused to plant grass and she's GROWING VEGETABLES! For God's sake WHO GROWS VEGETABLES!? Call the city planner's office!"

These type of people are pathetic. TV-watching, lotto-ticket-scratching, microwave-dinner-eating "useless eaters." They lead pointless, predictable, conformist lives devoid of meaning, utterly lacking in respect or compassion for any other human being, and they lack the basic understandings of personal freedom that must serve as the foundation of any lasting society. It is precisely these kind of whiney, pitiful, pathetic excuses for human beings who are the reason America has gone downhill in the last two generations.

In the 1950's you would never have heard someone complaining about their neighbor having a garden in their yard. The idea would have been preposterous. What? A garden? Of course they can have a garden! Smart people grow their own tomatoes, didn't you know? What kind of moron complains about an organic veggie garden next door? I mean, seriously. Can we all please find a way to herd these people off a cliff somehow?

It is only today, in our artificial society, overrun by pavement, lit with toxic mercury fluorescent lights, cooled with artificial air conditioning, with our people fattened up on high fructose corn syrup and MSG and our schools dumbed down to the lowest common denominator of intelligence, that mainstream adult citizens have turned into such empty-headed crybabies that they have nothing better to do than complain about their neighbor growing food.

I don't know who the neighbors are who actually called the City Planner's office and complained about Julie Bass, but I'm willing to bet they are the most pathetic, brain-dead zombies who also take their annual flu vaccine shot and buy pesticide-ridden GMO food because "the government says it's all safe!" These people are just lining up to be Darwin award winners during the next societal disruption because they have no self reliance skills, no ability to think for themselves, and probably no physical ability to even lift a garden rake and move some dirt around with their own hands in the first place. They are planetary parasites who couldn't survive a week without spray cheese from a can.

Grow up, people! If the biggest problem in their life is that a neighbor is planting vegetables -- OH MY GOD! AL QUAEDA VEGGIES! -- then just wait until they experience the coming debt default by the U.S. government, or the hyperinflation of the currency which will send food prices into the stratosphere. It won't be long before people who grow their own food will look like geniuses while those who don't will be paying five, ten or even twenty times current prices for whatever food supplies they can get in the years ahead.

Why smart people are growing more of their own food

Planting a survival garden is one of the smartest things you can possibly do right now. I teach all these food preparedness skills, by the way, in a new course I just released, which you can learn about at: http://premium.naturalnews.tv/Be_Prepared_Fo...

One of the things I teach in my course is to watch out for all the non-preparers living around you who refuse to learn how to grow, harvest and store their own food. These are the people who will become a burden on you (and all of society) during any possible future disruption in the food system (crop failures, radical weather events, GMO catastrophe, natural disasters, economic collapse, etc.).

Guess who's likely to be standing in a food line when the next crisis hits? Kevin Rulkowski, the Oak Park city planner who thinks gardens are so ugly that nobody in the entire city should be able to plant one in their front yard.

I have advice for the residents of Oak Park, Michigan: When a food crisis strikes our nation, and Kevin Rulkowski comes to your door begging for food because he's starving, politely remind him that he's the government goon who actually threatened people for growing their own food. Then slam the door in his face.

Some people truly deserve what they have coming. Those who are true enemies of freedom, enemies of food, and enemies of self reliance do not deserve any help from the rest of us when the next crisis arrives. Let these people fend for themselves, without any seeds, stored foods, gardening skills or even a water filter. Let's see how well they do in the real world for a change, eh?

Sometimes Mother Nature has a way of removing people from the gene pool who simply aren't qualified to join the future of humanity; a future that MUST be based on distributed food production, front yard gardening, local food production, health freedom and a respect for the freedoms of your fellow brothers and sisters. When society can no longer tolerate people growing their own food in their own yards, that society is clearly on the brink of collapse. What could be more fundamental to a healthy community than local food production?

In opposing this -- and threatening an innocent woman with jail time for growing a garden -- people like Kevin Rulkowski are despicable examples of the devolving human race. In a world where survival means producing some portion of your own food in cooperation with your neighbors (who also produce something of value to trade with you), people like Rulkowski won't be missed at all.

In fact, in certain dystopian futures, people like Rulkowski become food! Soylent green, anyone?

Former UK govt. advisor: Stock up on food and supplies to survive the market crash (and ensuing social chaos)

Former UK govt. advisor: Stock up on food and supplies to survive the market crash (and ensuing social chaos)

(NaturalNews) Today the U.S. stock market opened with a more than 1,000 point plunge, followed by various ups and downs as market chaos took hold. After having lost more than 1,000 points last week, the Dow is now in serious "correction" territory, exhibiting behavior that indicates systemic fragility headed for a collapse (high volatility with wild swings in both directions).

A former high-level UK government advisor named Damian McBride has gone public with the same advice we've been urging readers to take seriously for years. In a series of tweets, McBride urged people to stock up on food and survival supplies to ride out the imminent social chaos that's now on a collision course with our delusional world.

Tweet #1: "Advice on the looming crash, No.1: get hard cash in a safe place now; don't assume banks & cashpoints will be open, or bank cards will work."

Tweet #2: "Crash advice No.2: do you have enough bottled water, tinned goods & other essentials at home to live a month indoors? If not, get shopping."

Tweet #3: "Crash advice No.3: agree a rally point with your loved ones in case transport and communication gets cut off; somewhere you can all head to."

McBride warns that the financial collapse now on a collision course with our world is 20 times worse than the near-collapse in 2008.

From the Independent UK:

Mr McBride credited his former boss Gordon Brown with preventing a cataclysm by nationalising the banking system during the 2008 crash.

"We were close enough in 2008 (if the bank bailout hadn't worked)," he said. "and what's coming is on 20 times that scale".

What does Damian McBride know that the mainstream media isn't reporting?

It's crystal clear from these tweets that McBride sees total social chaos being unleashed by the accelerating stock market crash. He's warning not just about financial events, but also food shortages, power grid failures, a collapse of transportation, the shuttering of banks and ATMs, etc.

These are the kind of events that happen when a financial crash becomes a systemic collapse of basic infrastructure.

They also happen to be descriptions of things that happen in a WAR. With China, Russia and the United States now engaged in a heated currency war that may have already gone "kinetic," all this begs the question: What does McBride know that his former employer -- the UK government -- isn't telling us?

Like all those who warn people to be prepared, McBride has of course been criticized for daring to tell people to stock up on supplies. Apparently, there exists a large number of suicidal morons in society who not only refuse to stock up on supplies for themselves; they actually hate it when other people stock up on supplies around them! But don't worry: If McBride's fears are correct, these anti-prepper idiots won't be around much longer to complain.

Unless you want to join them in an exercise of mass starvation and helplessness, you'd be wise to heed McBride's advice and make sure you cover the basics of preparedness now while you still can.
