Trump Wins! Now What? Why did I Vote?

Why did I vote? There are a number of reasons that I made the decision to participate. It was not a decision I arrived at with ease. As I cast my ballot, reluctantly I might add, I prayed that what I believe to be true about our political process was wrong. I put my FAITH, (Father All In Thy Hands) not in the system but in our creators hands. Before I continue I would like to thank you the reader. I am not a writer so forgive my less than perfect grammar and punctuation.

The Reasons (not in any particular order)

1) Local ballot measures which I thought were important. Thought remains for me that although Federal elections are most likely rigged, the local level may still have some integrity.

2) Rigging. I committed to several vote integrity, watch organization and advocacy groups. I pledged to participate in legal redresses of grievances regarding the outcome if there was an indication of vote rigging. This pledge seemed to lack character if I did not vote.

3) The possibility that Donald Trump was the Real Deal!

4) The possibility that a massive voter turnout could thwart any attempts at vote tampering. (I may have been right)

5) To honor all military Veteran’s and the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our right to vote. Whether or not our vote makes a difference is beside the point. The point is they lost their lives believing they were defending our freedom and right to vote! .

6) I voted for LIFE and not a society engaging in infanticide! Abortion is murder period!

7) It was a NO for Hillary and the Clinton Crime Foundation

2 Corinthians Verse 3 Chapter 17 states :where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty” Pastor Ted Weiland and outspoken critic of the constitution writes “The spirit of the lord cannot be found in the constitution because Yahweah and his perfect laws of liberty were flagrantly disregarded. The Constitution provided us not with Liberty, but with bondage: dishonest and reprobate legislators, an ungodly court system, corruption, licenses, permits and countless registrations, in addition to taxes on nearly everything!”

On this I share thought. Some believe the constitution, as written only works if there is a strong moral base. Others feel that we were sold out in the beginning and there is much evidence for that school of thought. Myself? I tend to believe the later. Either way it is hard to deny that this country and much of the world is seriously lacking moral high ground to say the least. I believe as well that western ideals like capitalism are also subject to efficacy on a strong moral base. Without it Mathew Chapter 7: 16-18 certainly applies

16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit

This portion of scripture describes the corruption rampant in Washington DC, our political system overall, the Corporate Lobby and Special Interests groups not to mention the evil being practiced by the Global Elites.

What really happened Tuesday night? I for one was positive that another Clinton would reside in the White House and not because she would win but because she would be placed there by the powers that shouldn’t be. I watched the the real time vote returns Tuesday night looking for evidence of vote tampering. Early on my observations indicated that something odd was happening on the East coast. Trump led with huge margins in every state but Vermont early in the evening. Each state varied but 60/30 numbers in favor of Trump were widespread.… Suddenly I watched multiple states flip in favor of Clinton. Was GEMS Diebold being used? Were they trying to steal the vote? Did the massive turnout, record numbers in many states, thwart the fraud or was there some sort of Divine intervention?

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Was the hand of God at work? I would like to think so but the fact remains that the congress is primarily being held by the same corrupt, bought and paid for cronies that support the evil tree! Is Trump the real deal? Will he bow to the pressure from the dark side and the minions surrounding him in Washington? Will he really attempt to drain the swamp and fulfill his stated objective of stomping out corruption or was this all more illusion and theater? I have to say Tuesday night was theater at it’s finest! Time will tell! Maybe it just bought us all a little more time to prepare the body of Christ. What little faith I have in the democracy of our Republic again depends on more unanswered questions!

My opinions aside my heart takes comfort in Psalm 118:8 “It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.”

I am elated that my predictions of a Clinton White House were wrong. I am also glad I made the decision to vote!

In closing, I was less than impressed by Trumps victory speech. What I heard was more of the same. A good ole boys address. I had hoped to hear anything but a tempered oration…..

May God Bless us all!
